One in five children in the Gaza Strip has missed basic vaccinations over the past two years amid Israel’s war and blockade on the territory, the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) said Friday, Anadolu reports. “Reports indicate that one in every five children in Gaza has missed their essential vaccines,” the agency said in a statement on US social media company X.
