Israeli forces released the Palestinian nurse Tasneem al-Hums on Sunday evening after detaining her for nearly six weeks. Family sources said that Tasneem, the daughter of detained doctor Marwan al-Hums, arrived in the Gaza Strip shortly after her release. A special Israeli unit had seized her on 2 October in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, before taking her to an unknown location and holding her until her release yesterday.
