Syrian casualties reported after Israeli air strikes on Beit Jinn near Damascus

Casualties were reported on Friday morning after Israeli air strikes hit the town of Beit Jinn in the countryside of the Syrian capital, Damascus. According to the state-run Al-Ikhbariah TV channel, there were “martyrs and wounded as a result of Israeli occupation aircraft bombing the town of Beit Jinn in the Damascus countryside”. The channel said the strikes followed an incident in which residents surrounded an Israeli military patrol that had entered the town, leading to an exchange of fire before the patrol withdrew.
