A Hezbollah MP has said that surrender has “no place” in the movement’s vocabulary, stressing its right to defend itself if attacked. Speaking on Sunday, Hezbollah MP Hussein Hajj Hassan made the remarks during a political meeting organised by Hezbollah’s public relations department in the Bekaa Valley. Hajj Hassan said Israel is exerting security, military and political pressure aimed at eliminating the resistance and its weapons. “We tell them that the resistance remains and is ready to defend Lebanon and its interests,” he said.
