UNRWA staff protest in Gaza against decision to dismiss 600 employees

Employees of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) staged a sit-in in front of its administrative headquarters in the Gaza Strip, expressing their strong dissatisfaction with the arbitrary decision to dismiss 600 employees. Dr. Mustafa Al-Ghoul, head of the employees’ union, stated that this measure was unjust and arbitrary, and that UNRWA must reverse its decision.
