A private Hebrew-language broadcaster reported on Thursday that Israeli soldiers had stolen 250 goats from inside Syrian territory and moved them to farms in settlements in the occupied West Bank. Channel 7 described the incident on the Syrian border as “exceptional”. It said a group of Israeli soldiers took a herd of 250 goats from Syrian land and transported them by trucks to several farms in West Bank settlements. According to the report, the theft took place around two weeks ago. The soldiers allegedly called in transport trucks to move the herd.
