One person was killed and two others were injured in an Israeli airstrike in southern Lebanon on Monday, in a new violation of a ceasefire deal in effect since November 2024, the Lebanese Health Ministry said, Anadolu reports. In a statement, the ministry’s Public Health Emergency Operations Center said the casualties were reported in the strike that targeted Tyre city in the country’s south. The state news agency NNA said that an Israeli drone hit a vehicle on the city’s outskirts.
