The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) agency said on Monday evening that it had received a report of an incident involving an oil tanker and military forces in the Indian Ocean. In a post on X, UKMTO said the incident took place in the Arabian Sea, south-east of Muscat, Oman. The agency advised vessels to consider the latest maritime security information and maintain awareness of the evolving operational environment.
