Egypt’s Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, reaffirmed on Thursday Cairo’s firm rejection of any attempt to divide the Gaza Strip, stressing the need to preserve the unity of Palestinian territory between Gaza and the West Bank. His remarks were made during a phone call with the UK Foreign Secretary, Yvette Cooper. Both ministers discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian issue.
