Israeli settlers raided Burqa village, east of Ramallah, on Monday evening and set fire to several olive trees. Local sources said the settlers targeted the al-Hadab area on the western side of the village, close to residents’ homes, where they set olive trees on fire. They noted that the trees burned despite rainfall, indicating that highly flammable materials were used, which posed a direct threat to nearby houses. Burqa village, like other towns and villages in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, has faced repeated attacks by settlers.
