Three Palestinians were killed on Thursday when an Israeli drone strike hit a tent sheltering displaced civilians in southern Gaza, in the latest violation of last year’s ceasefire deal, according to a local emergency service, Anadolu reports. The Gaza Civil Defense and Emergency Directorate said in a brief statement that the strike targeted a tent in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Younis, killing three people at the scene. Al-Mawasi has been designated by Israel as a so-called “safe zone,” yet it has continued to come under attack.
