The Lebanese government has declared Thursday a national day of mourning for victims of Israeli air strikes that hit several areas across the country, killing hundreds of civilians. Prime Minister Nawaf Salam said in a statement issued on Wednesday that all public administrations, institutions and municipalities will be closed. Flags will be flown at half-mast, while regular programming on radio and television stations will be adjusted in line with the national tragedy.
