Palestinian ministry: Israel killed 33,000 women and children in two years

The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday that 33,000 women and children were killed in the Palestinian territories over the past two years as a result of Israeli violence, describing these actions as among “the most severe forms of discrimination and persecution” against women in the modern world. The ministry published its statement to mark the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, observed each year on 25 November.
