
A new report released on Thursday by the non-governmental organisation Oil Change International says that 25 countries supplied Israel with oil during the war in the Gaza Strip. The organisation condemns what it describes as a fossil-fuel system that is fuelling “genocide” and worsening the climate crisis. Published on the sidelines of the COP30 summit in Brazil, the report states that Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan provided 70 per cent of crude oil shipments between November 2023 and October 2025.
