Spain’s Ministry of Consumer Affairs has ordered advertising platforms to remove listings promoting tourist accommodation in the Israeli-occupied Palestinian territories, in a move framed as support for the Palestinian people. The companies were instructed to remove or block the ads immediately. The ministry warned that failure to comply would result in “further measures” being taken.
