Sudan’s Sovereignty Council Chairman Abdel Fattah al-Burhan on Saturday discussed counterterrorism cooperation and Red Sea security with Egypt’s intelligence chief Hassan Rashad, according to a statement from Sudan’s Sovereignty Council, Anadolu reports. The meeting, held in Port Sudan, also addressed bilateral relations and ways to strengthen and develop cooperation between Sudan and Egypt, the statement said. Rashad conveyed greetings from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi to Burhan, it added.
