A Syrian security officer was killed and two others were injured in an attack by outlaw groups in the southern Suwayda province, local media said Tuesday, Anadolu reports. Outlaw groups attacked a security checkpoint in the western countryside of Suwayda, a security source told the state-run Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). Suwayda has observed a ceasefire since July 19 following a weeklong bout of clashes between Druze groups and Bedouin tribes that left hundreds dead.
