An Israeli airstrike targeted a car in southern Lebanon on Thursday, killing three people, hours before US-hosted talks between Lebanon and Israel, the Lebanese Health Ministry said, Anadolu reports. The ministry said the fatalities were reported in the strike that hit the vehicle along a road linking Nabatieh and Shoukine. The attack comes as Washington prepares to host a second round of ambassador-level talks later on Thursday in an effort to reach a peace agreement between Lebanon and Israel.
