The Palestinian Resistance Movement, Hamas has condemned the burning of a mosque in the Salfit governorate by Israeli settlers and said the arson attack “once again exposes the depth of Israeli racism and sadism toward the Palestinian people and their Islamic and Christian holy sites.” In a statement published on its Telegram channel on Thursday, the movement condemned the arson attack on the Hajja Hamida Mosque, located between Kafr Haris and Deir Istiya, calling it a “heinous crime” and “a blatant assault on the feelings of Muslims and their freedom of worship.” Hamas added that the escalating violence by settlers “is carried out with the full backing of the fascist occupation government,” aimed at imposing new realities on the ground […]
