Israeli army injures 4, detains 28 in West Bank raid

The Israeli army escalated assaults against Palestinians on Wednesday, injuring four people and detaining 28 others in a military raid in the West Bank and bombing multiple areas in the Gaza Strip despite a ceasefire agreement, medics and witnesses said, Anadolu Agency reports. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said four people were injured after being beaten by Israeli soldiers during a raid in the town of Jaba, south of Jenin in the northern West Bank. Israeli troops detained 28 residents during the raid and searched dozens of homes, including on-site questioning inside one house, witnesses said.
