US President Donald Trump said on Monday that targeting Iran’s infrastructure was justified, describing Iranians as “animals” in response to a question on whether such attacks could constitute a war crime. Asked how targeting Iranian infrastructure would not be considered a war crime, Trump replied: “Because they’re animals.” He added, addressing the journalist: “Do you know what a war crime is?
