US envoy Steve Witkoff arrived in Israel on Tuesday to hold talks with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other officials, Israeli Channel 12 reported. Netanyahu’s office told The Times of Israel news portal that the premier will meet Witkoff at 4.30 pm local time (1430 GMT). The US envoy’s talks in Israel are expected to focus on Iran and the implementation of the second phase of the Gaza ceasefire plan.
