US university ends contract for sending human cadavers to train Israeli military personnel

The University of Southern California (USC) has terminated an arrangement involving the transfer of human cadavers used to train Israeli military medical personnel, campus news organization Annenberg Media reported, Anadolu reports. The university concluded the agreement between its Keck School of Medicine and the US Navy on Thursday, ending a program that spanned more than five years and generated more than $1 million for the university. Officials at the medical school said decision did not stem from recent student demonstrations sparked by media disclosures of the initiative.
